Laboratory Metal Sample Melting Vacuum Arc Melting Furnace (Product Description):
This product is a compact vacuum arc melting furnace equipped with a tungsten electrode and a water-cooled copper crucible. The furnace achieves melting temperatures exceeding 3000°C, with rapid cooling capabilities. It features a stainless steel water-cooled chamber and a quartz observation window for monitoring the melting process, making it ideal for sample melting, heat treatment, and phase diagram studies. During operation, metals are placed in the water-cooled copper crucible. High-purity inert gas can be introduced into the chamber as required, and the metal is melted using high-temperature plasma generated by the electric arc.
The crucible includes multiple chambers for melting small metal samples (3-5 g per chamber) and a central cavity for alloy mixing and melting (capacity ~25 g). A side control lever allows tilting and rotating of the crucible after melting. The furnace also supports vacuum suction casting by replacing the crucible with a dedicated mold, enabling the production of cylindrical metal samples for subsequent cutting, clamping, and analysis.
Designed for compactness, stability, and ease of operation, this furnace is tailored for laboratory research involving small-batch metal samples.
